Advisory  ·  Private  ·  Two spots

Is AI going to kill your business, or make it worth more?

Over the next twelve months, AI is going to do one of two things to your business. It is going to make it worth more, or it is going to make it worth less. The second one doesn't announce itself. It shows up as a competitor who can suddenly do what you do for a tenth of the cost, or a customer who no longer needs you for the thing they used to pay you for.

If you're deploying capital, the same two outcomes apply to every venture you're backing. Some of the things you're funding are about to get cheap to build. Some of them are about to become worthless. Working out which is which is the whole job now.

I'm opening two advisory spots. Working directly with me, one-on-one. This isn't for everyone.

Who this is for

  • You're running a business doing $1M or more.
  • You're actively deploying capital into new ventures. Your own, a family office, a fund.
  • You need to understand how AI is going to threaten or elevate your business over the next twelve months, and you need someone who will tell you straight.

Who this isn't for

These are good places to be. They are not this.

What this is

Pure advisory. No course. No build. No team. No deck.

I have no tool to sell you and no fund to raise. What you get is my judgment, applied to your business, as often as you need it. I explore AI and separate the hype from the reality, so you get only what actually works, without having to do it yourself.

Why me

I've been through this twice before.

I ran a web agency in Dubai in 2001 and watched it dissolve in days when the world changed. I built Europe's first mobile agency when the smartphone arrived, shipped work for Apple, Microsoft and the BBC, and exited. I downloaded ChatGPT on the second day of the public beta, as a business decision, and I have worked with AI every day since.

Thirty years running businesses. Over 1,400 projects. I've advised royalty and consulted on almost every continent. I know what a platform shift looks like from the inside, in the months before everyone else can see it.

What you get

A verdict, in plain English.

  • What in your business, or your portfolio, is going to die.
  • What is about to get cheap.
  • What is about to become more valuable.
  • What to do, in what order.
  • What to leave alone.

Judgment, not forecasts. I won't tell you what the market is going to do. I'll tell you what to do about it.

How it works

One-on-one. We start with a full day together, in person. Then you have a direct line to me for the year. When something moves, and it will, you don't wait for the next call. You text me.

$250,000 Two spots

Tell me about your business below. I read every application myself. Nobody on my team sees it. You'll get a text from me directly within 24 hours.

We should probably talk.

Pete

Tell me about your business.

Read by me, not a team. Kept confidential. A text from me within 24 hours.

Your position

The next twelve months

Read personally. Kept confidential. A text from me within 24 hours.

Received.

I'll read it myself. You'll get a text from me directly within 24 hours.

Questions

The ones that come up before people apply.

Is this consulting?

No. There are no billable hours, no deliverables, no project plan and no team behind the curtain. You get my judgment, applied to your business or your portfolio, as often as you need it. I don't do consulting. This is the opposite of it.

What does the year actually look like?

We start with a full day together, in person. I come to you. By the end of it you have the verdict: what dies, what gets cheap, what gets more valuable, what to do in what order, and what to leave alone.

After that you have a direct line to me for the year. When something moves, you text me. You don't wait for a scheduled call.

I deploy capital. I don't run one business. Does this fit?

Yes. The read applies to a portfolio the same way it applies to a company. Which of the things you're funding are about to get cheap to build, which are about to be worthless, and which theses are about to be invalidated. If you're putting money into new ventures over the next twelve months, this is for you.

Why only two spots?

Because it's me. Not a programme, not a cohort, not a team wearing my name. Two is the number I can give a full day in person and a direct line to, properly, while I run my own business on the same systems I'll be talking to you about.

What if you tell me my business is going to die?

Then you'll know a year before your competitors do, and we'll spend the year on what you do about it. That is the whole point of asking the question now rather than finding out later.

What happens after I apply?

I read it myself. Nobody on my team sees it. You'll get a text from me directly within 24 hours, and if it's a fit we talk. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too, and point you at the right place.

Is everything I tell you confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a condition of the work, not a favour. What you tell me in the application and in the room stays with me.

Is $250,000 the whole cost?

$250,000 is the fee for the year. There's nothing on this page to upgrade to and nothing I'll try to sell you afterwards. Payment terms are something we settle on the call.
